Culturally Appropriate Helpline and Partnership Support for Social Services

Drawing on the report's recommendation for enhanced communication and community engagement, Amani Haven will offer a helpline specifically designed to support Black and ethnically diverse families.

This helpline will be a resource for foster carers, social workers, and families, providing culturally informed advice, language support, and advocacy. We will partner with social services across Scotland to ensure that cultural competence is a core component of all interactions with Black and Brown children, addressing issues of racism and bias head-on.
